Joe is a principal at Skoda Minotti with over 25 years of IT and business management experience. He has spent the past 15 years focused on enterprise risk management process development, compliance review, and IT security audits and penetration testing within the financial services industry. At Skoda Minotti, Joe leads a national practice that provides the financial services industry a complete menu of compliance, management, and marketing services, geared toward servicing community banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions of all sizes. Clients appreciate Joe’s ability to make complex issues clear so that nontechnical managers can own and manage compliance programs with confidence. Joe is a 1989 graduate of John Carroll University with a B.A. in English and History, and he is presently working on a Certificate in Executive Management and Leadership at the Mendoza School of Business at the University of Notre Dame; the program will be completed in 2012.

Joe is an active speaker at state and national bank conventions, national training seminars and colleges. Most recently, Joe developed an online business continuity planning seminar for Bankinfosecurity.com, a leading source of regulatory information and training for community bankers. He is also an active member of the Northeast Ohio ISACA chapter (the Information Systems Audit and Control Association), the SANS Institute’s advisory board, the Cleveland chapter of Infragard, and is a Senior Analyst in Wikistrat’s Analytic Community. Joe currently serves on the Board of Lake Catholic High School, as well as the Technology Committee and the Overseas Committee for the Jewish Federation. He is an active member of Park Synagogue and member of Beechmont Country Club, The Union Club, and Deep Springs Trout Club.
