The City of Mayfield's existing website was outdated in every aspect (i.e., design, information and structure). The site also lacked the ability to allow our clients to effectively communicate with their constituents. Ultimately, they wanted a website that would allow them to communicate their vision, provide vital information for each of its departments and be able to utilize a marketing tool for recruiting others.

Solution

Skoda Minotti worked with the client to redesign the site with a new fresh look that properly represented their image and provided them with the means to effectively communicate with their employees and customers.

Revamped the site's navigation to allow site visitors to easily find and access any and all pertinent information.

  • Built the web site using a content management system that allows for the client's employees to update the site on a real time basis at no cost.
  • Enabled the site to house, archive and allow 24x7x365 access to meetings, agendas and minutes.
  • Created department-specific pages that offer a unique look and feel while providing an overall template that is consistent throughout the site.
  • Allowed for each department to post information, news and events specific to its own needs.
  • Provided the ability for site users to download and fill out requisite forms and applications.

Results

The site launched to rave reviews from the client's staff. Additionally, the site has experienced tremendous traffic. Since its launch it has averaged nearly 4,000 unique visitors per month.
